Uncertainty surrounding artificial intelligence when it comes to digital advertising may soon be a thing of the past, as new guidance is on the horizon, says Chuck Martin for MediaPost. The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) launched a brand new working group on Wednesday 9th August, that’s focused on AI and machine learning. The aim is to help executives in the advertising, technology, and marketing spheres to fully understand any impact that these things will have on digital advertising. As well as defining what AI actually is, the group will cover issues like how machine learning and AI impact on business, what tools the industry can use to plan ahead, and setting standards for the area in terms of the marketing and advertising industry.
