Laurie Sullivan looks at Google’s planned changes to the Adwords Display Network for Media Post, and how the new options should smooth and streamline the process. The modifications should give marketers more control once they roll out, and include things like removing a number of the site categories, merging some of the site categories, introducing content exclusions to merge display and video campaign settings, and giving users one place to set the exclusions (which were previously ‘site category options’). While some existing site categories such as gambling, error pages, and social networks are being removed, there will be a few new categories. Content Suitable for Families and Sensitive Social Issues are two of the new site categories.
